Nothing is more beneficial than self-care.
Let me put it this way...
DOING absolutely nothing at all is more beneficial for your health than DOING so-called self-care.
Well, back to what Buddhism in America was trying to tell us...
We are trying too much. There is just too much DOING going on. Remember that we are human-BE-INGS, not human DO-INGS-TOO-MUCH-just-one-more-thing-today-I-can't-stop-even-too-CARE-for-my-self!
So, I invite you, for your own health and well-being, to do not, not one thing, do NOTHING and just be, for a moment is all. It might not feel very good at first, since it is totally out of your comfort zone, but it is a real step towards wholeness and respecting the sacredness and meaning of your own time on Earth.
