What Makes My Approach Unique
I am a classical homeopath using the deepest case-taking and remedy finding methods available today.
I also understand that you want to start feeling better right from the first appointment,
not just six months or a year from now.
So, you also get to start healing and feeling better using proven and reliable (non-suppressive) homeopathic and naturopathic tools right from the first appointment.
Sometimes it takes a while to get to that amazing classical homeopathic remedy that brings holistic healing to the deepest levels, in the meantime you get non-classical homeopathic and naturopathic supports!

A Bit About Me
I am Catholic (Christian).
Healing is a process. Healing brings us home. As a homeopath, I am stepping into the mystery of becoming ill and of healing again. Exploring this area of living that dances with the unknown as well as the miracle of cure is what inspires my love of homeopathy. I started out with an interest in serving others by volunteering for environmental and social welfare groups but found that I just wasn't very good at organizing, especially groups of people. I still wanted to help others, but one at a time, so I looked into medicines such as Chinese Medicine, Osteopathy, conventional (allopathic) etc. Homeopathy was the clear winner because of the effectiveness and wholeness of the science. It is also very affordable to produce and easy to take traveling. I hold a Diploma in Homeopathy from the Montreal Institute of Classical Homeopathy. This four-year program taught me just how differently each and everyone one of us experiences life. The way to be a good homeopath is to be aware of ones own changing limitations, so that the focus of healing can clearly be on the client in their own uniqueness. I also had the chance to participate in an internship in a rural, impoverished area of Honduras. We worked all day every day to help people with basic health deficiencies relating to difficult living conditions, nutrition, poverty, harsh working environments, extremes of climate, and tropical diseases. I take what I learned about these specific physical conditions back to my work in Canada as well as the drive to help bring real healthcare to everyone. Vital Philosophy & Company Values 1. Family First 2. People are not the cause of their problems, but they are the only ones able to resolve them. Healing is the responsibility of the client, (the homeopath is) there as a coach, a support and a resource - (The HOMEOPATH is) NOT the Healer*. The client is the healer. Disease is never the client’s FAULT, no matter what behavior might have contributed to the disease (over-eating, alcoholism, drug abuse, self abuse etc.) (this is a quote from my teacher Judyann McNamara) 3. We each have a unique point of view. We are "conflict positive". You have a right to define your own boundaries. You have a responsibility to express them. There is no expectation of others agreeing with your point of view. Agreeing or sharing a viewpoint does is not a precursor to Love and caring. We Love and care for one another without agreeing with each other. 4. Forgiveness. This is vital for self-healing. 5. I believe that children are innocent. Any behavior that might be interpreted as manipulative or malicious is really a protection mechanism, often to prevent the feeling of pain (emotional or physical). When we heal this unique sensitivity to the pain, then the unwanted behavior is no longer produced by the child. I also try to limit speaking about anything that could accidentally reflect poorly on the child in front of the child, only speaking about positive aspects in front of them. 6. Unicist approach So, yes, I have extensive training in what I have always called classical, but is more specifically called unicist (single remedy) homeopathy. We learned Kent (who is the doctor who really brought a more psychological approach to homeopathy as well as using higher potencies less often, and who's approach most think of in the USA when referring to classical), but we also went further forward in time than Kent, and learned Vithoulkas, Sankaran and Masi. These homeopaths all use the single remedy approach to prescribing, but they have expanded and deepened the way in which we find the remedy. At my school, we also learned a lot about the therapeutic relationship between the homeopath and the patient. I think my school is really on the leading edge of this in homeopathy worldwide. I still do some classes with them because homeopathy is actually really expanding and growing right now in our learning about the dynamics that we match to get the curative remedies. I hope that helps with specifics of the approaches that I use in "classical" homeopathy. I am also trained in using what we call "supports" so this may include complexes, protocols, flower essences, cells salts, oligo-elements, gemmotherapy. I bring this in as-needed, the single remedy is really where the deepest cures happen, but I like to offer people some relief as soon as I can as well as support different organ systems that need extra help.
