Pregnancy and birth
It is very, very important to INCREASE your salt intake during pregnancy!
The Brewer diet, in a nutshell, is this: salt to taste + (salt shots), drink bone broth or milk instead of water (more calories), eat at least 2 eggs a day, eat enough nutritious food, daily, cut out any diuretics (caffeine, herbs, etc). We need enough salt, protein and calories in order to make the ions needed to keep the blood in the vessels instead of the fluid leaking out.
