Holistic Homeopathy is able to have such a deep healing effect because of a few major principles:
- Illness (chronic) and healing are human processes that occur in the realm of wholeness, not in the realm of cause and effect. We don't seek to blame anything (an event, a belief...) for having caused a current set of symptoms. This is different than psychology, for example, a psychologist might say that you are afraid of school busses because you were hit by a school bus in childhood. I am still very interested in what happened in your childhood, but I would say that there is a susceptibility to what being hit by a school bus represents. The answer might seem obvious to the person who was hit, but is actually very unique. Framing chronic illness in the lens of wholeness allows us to regulate directly the susceptibility in the context of the person's whole life, without having to develop strategies that suppress or displace individual symptoms, such as fear of school busses.
- Symptoms are the organisms best effort at healing. Your being is already doing it's best to keep you well. The organism is creating and sustaining these symptoms in an effort to heal itself. When it receives the right homeopathic remedy that mirrors this symptom state, the call is satisfied, and the organism is able to go back to a state of health.
- Together we explore the unknown. (The ego tries to block us from experiencing our fears and from what it interprets to be threatening. This is for our own survival and happens subconsciously.)
- The soul doesn’t have these illusions of dualities and divisions. Healing and growing comes from the souls impetus, when it is not hindered by aggravated susceptibility. (The homeopath can notice and inquire into places and movements that are not able to be accessed by oneself or with someone who resonates with your problems.)
